HanGyol Kim(b.1991 Seoul, Korea) lives and works in Seoul and Karlsruhe. Since 2018, she studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, following her graduation in Fine Arts at the Korea University. With her practice she explores inner abstract landscapes, merging with figurative symbols from surroundings, texts, dreams, and fragments of everyday life.
Together with artists Hsuan-wei Chen, Catalena Janitz and Areum Yoon, she runs the project team SOLOS in the atelier room in the Alter Schlachthof in Karlsruhe since September 2023.
